IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A sun-Jupiter link on your birthday will expand your awareness of what is possible in life, which is good, but it will also encourage you to take foolish risks, which could be very bad. A little bit of self-awareness will go a very long way this year.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The sun in your sign makes it so easy to be yourself and when Mars, your ruler, joins it there in midweek your ego will be supercharged. What are you capable of? Anything you choose. You’ve always hated limits, so in future just ignore them.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

A project that has been on the back burner for weeks, maybe even months, can start moving ahead again. It would appear that the obstacles you thought were holding you back were nothing more than illusions caused by your overactive imagination.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The best way to outflank rivals is to outthink them and the best way to do that is to stand back from the fight and view it from a higher perspective. The closer you are to the problem the less likely it is you will find a solution.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The next few days will see challenges come at you from all directions and by the time Mars changes signs on Thursday you could be seriously under pressure. Good. That’s when the cardinal side of your nature will kick in and you start fighting back.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The planets warn there is a danger that someone who wants to see you fail will do their best to lay a trap for you over the next few days. Be wary of people who stroke your ego or offer rewards beyond what you know you deserve.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Try not to react if someone you work or do business with says something about you that is both unflattering and false. Most likely they have been fed information by a third party who is looking to stir things up. Don’t let it upset you.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Mars in the work area of your chart has been a big help in recent weeks, giving you the energy to succeed at tasks that might otherwise have been too much for you. Now though, you must ease back a bit. Reward yourself with a well-earned rest.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Someone who has supported you in the past may be reluctant to carry on supporting you over the next few days. Whatever their reasons may be you must respect their decision and not try to keep them tied to you. Frankly, you no longer need them.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

One of the best times of the year for you is a matter of days away. When Mars joins the sun in the most dynamic area of your chart on Thursday your energy will surge and your ambition will soar. Start making plans and make them big!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Persuasion always works better than coercion, so forget about trying to force your opinions on other people and just show them how they would benefit from seeing things from your point of view. Making a profit trumps just about everything else.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Mars has been active in the money area of your chart in recent weeks but in a few days’ time it will move on and add energy to your social life. If you can afford to go out and have a good time why would you not want to?

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

If you are having doubts of any kind you must not let it show. Your rivals will turn up the pressure if they get the idea that you are not as confident as you claim to be. Put on your game face and let them see you won’t crack.
