IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Be good to yourself over the coming year. Every time you reach a new milestone, which will be often, reward yourself with a special treat. Life doesn’t have to be a constant struggle, it can also be a lot of fun. Make that your No. 1 aim.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You are who you are for a good cosmic reason and anyone who tries to suggest that you change your ways must be shown the door. You have too much planned for the week ahead to make room for those who have doubts about you.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Generally speaking you don’t much like change but there is so much going on in your world that it is no longer an option to keep things as they are. If you find yourself being nudged in a certain direction you really must get moving.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The rapport you once shared with someone seems to have gone but in the greater scheme of things it’s no big deal, so don’t waste time lamenting the fact. There comes a time when everyone must move on and this appears to be yours.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If your head tells you one thing and your heart tells you another it is the latter you should pay most attention to. What you feel on the inside may not seem logical but not everything in this world can be explained in rational terms.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you try to get your way through sheer force of personality you will be disappointed. There is so much going on around the opposite side of the zodiac that if you want to get anywhere this coming week you will have to make compromises.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

No sign possesses a bigger brain than Virgo and if you point the power of your mind at a problem of some sort over the next few days it won’t be a problem for long. And remember: the best answer is almost always the easy answer.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Don’t go loading yourself up with extra work this week because you need to be free to come and go as you please. Set yourself a deadline and do the most you can but don’t push yourself any further than that. Having fun is more important than work.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You may have the power to get things done but that won’t stop people from dragging their feet if they feel you are being overly demanding. As a rule of thumb don’t ask others to do more than you are prepared to do yourself.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You won’t be much in the mood for work as the new week begins but that’s okay because you will still get a lot done even when you are just cruising along and amusing yourself. You don’t have to work up a sweat to make a difference.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You may be in a generous mood at the moment but don’t start spending cash as if it is about to go out of fashion. Also, if you do splash out on something big make sure you get value for money – and a no-questions-asked return policy.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

There will be no holding you back as the new week begins. You are determined to get out there and demonstrate to the world what star quality looks like, and anyone who wants to be in your show will have to play by your rules.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Life may be a bit of an uphill struggle at the moment but every step you take and every effort you make is building up the physical, mental and emotional strength you will need to chase after success. Keep moving and keep believing!
