IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The higher you set your sights this year the more you will attract criticism from people who say you are getting ideas above your station. On the contrary, it’s not your aims that are too lofty, it’s their aims that are way too low. Aim for the stars.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Money matters should be going well for you now but resist the urge to spend it as fast as you make it. If you are smart you will put a bit aside this week for those occasions when you need to find some extra cash in a hurry.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Step into the spotlight and let the world know you exist. You may be reluctant to draw attention to yourself but this is one of those times when your communication skills could be useful in winning important people round to your way of thinking.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you put your mind to something over the next few days there is no doubt at all that you will make a success of it. Don’t wait for the sun to enter your sign on the 20th, get your act together and do something memorable right now.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You like to stay on good terms with everyone but this is one of those times when you may have no choice but to let one particular individual know you are unhappy with their efforts – more to the point, that they have not been making an effort.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you want to impress important people you are going to have to make a conscious effort to keep your mouth shut and listen to what they have to tell you rather than spout off your own views all the time. It is possible to say too much.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If you don’t believe in yourself how can you expect other people to show belief in you? That appears to be your current dilemma and you need to resolve it before the sun changes signs on Tuesday. Yes Virgo, you DO have what it takes.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may hate promoting yourself, and there are certainly more creative things you could be doing with your time and energy, but you do need to showcase your talents to people who might pay you for them. Money isn’t everything but it isn’t nothing either.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

There is no guarantee that you will succeed in your current endeavour but that is not an excuse to give less than 100 per cent. Even if you do fall short this week you will still be ahead of the game. Aim for perfection and settle for excellence.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Nothing is too much for you now, so decide what it is you most want to accomplish and go for it with every ounce of energy you possess. By sheer force of will you will find yourself crossing the finishing line well ahead of your rivals.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

One of the life lessons you should have learned is that nothing turns out as bad as you think it will, so shrug off whatever doubts may be plaguing you and act as if you cannot fail. That belief, even though it may be shallow, will guarantee success.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

If something of a minor nature goes wrong this week see if there is a lesson to be learned, then forget about it forever. There are far more important matters coming at you from over the cosmic horizon, so don’t bog yourself down with trivial matters.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You need to patch up a relationship that has been going downhill. The best way to do that is to be honest with yourself about your role in the situation and then to resolve that from here on in you will be a better person. It’s not difficult.
