The weekend is almost here, and according to The Weather Network, Calgary is about to see nothing but sunny skies for the next few days. It’s shaping up to be the perfect excuse to get out and make the most of the city.

Whether it’s exploring something new, checking out a hidden gem, or just spending time outside soaking up the sun, there’s no shortage of things happening around the city to kick off the next few days right.

The Calgary Read Big Book Sale returns this weekend, with nearly 20,000 gently used books in every genre you could imagine.

It’s a great spot to wander, browse, and maybe leave with a few more books than you planned, all while supporting children’s literacy in the city.
