16 July 20265 Mins Read

We’ve got another great weekend ahead of us, Edmonton.

With a full schedule of things to do, there’s going to be no shortage of fun this weekend. Thankfully, we’ve rounded up some of the best things to do this weekend in the city to help with all your upcoming plans.

No use in wasting time, let’s jump into the most exciting activities and events coming up this weekend in Edmonton!

If you’re familiar with Fort Edmonton Park‘s Where Dark Things Dwell, its highly anticipated sequel has just arrived.

Teams of four will work together in this escape “room” experience to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and complete challenges throughout the park’s 1885 Street, racing to break a mysterious curse before time runs out.

When: Now until Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026
Time: 6 and 8:30 p.m.
Where: Fort Edmonton Park — 7000 143rd St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $35

Neon Skies Festival is Edmonton’s newest pop music festival, being held right in the middle of the city — in ICE District’s Fan Park. This will be the festival’s first year, its inaugural two-night party held this summer in July. You can anticipate big names like legendary pop star Kesha and the talented Conan Gray as your headliners.

When: Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Where: Fan Park in the ICE District — 10104 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

A mansion. A murder. A mystery. Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench?

Based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.

When: Tuesday, July 14, to Sunday, July 19, 2026
Time: Various times
Where: Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium — 11455 87th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Making its way around to Edmonton once again is the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival. With huge names coming up this season, you’re going to be laughing your head off all night long.

This market offers two experiences: its night market on Friday and the day market on Saturday. Both are extremely fun, but with different vibes attached to the events.

Friday will have less of a crowd due to the event being ticketed, meaning you’ll get VIP early access to all the best curated pieces. Saturday will feature switched-out vendors, meaning more variety in food and drink, as well as more sick clothing to sift through.

Both days, you can expect DJ sets, tooth gems, and so many more cool opportunities.

When: Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday; Noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday
Where: 12017 102nd Ave., Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $8.69 for night market; Free for day market

KDays is Edmonton’s annual summer festival, taking over the city with games, concerts, and fun all around. If you’re ready to spend a day, or maybe even a couple, at the fairgrounds, we’ll see you there. This is an Edmonton classic for a reason.

When: Friday, July 17, to Sunday, July 26, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Expo Centre and Exhibition Grounds — 515 118th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $15.45+

Queen Mary’s Market is located in the heart of Edmonton and offers over 130 vendors, as well as five individual restaurants within the building. This market takes on strong local vendors with a selection of antiques, rare collectibles, local produce, artisanal goods, and services.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays
Where: 12011 111th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

Complete with live music, local food vendors, and breweries, as well as the magic of exotic and wild animals, Zoobrew transforms the family-friendly atmosphere of the local Valley Zoo into an ultra-fun escape. With over 25 breweries, wineries, and distilleries, you’ll be sipping all night long.

When: Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: 5 to 11 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Valley Zoo — 13315 Buena Vista Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $33.50

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re in a real-life Jaws movie, this is your chance. Jaws at the Lake is coming to Sylvan Lake this summer, bringing an outdoor screening of the classic film right to the water. As the sun starts to set, a massive movie screen takes over the beach, and you’ll find people setting up blankets and lawn chairs or floating on the water, all trying to get the best view before the movie starts.

When: Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: 9 p.m.
Where: Lakefront Park, Sylvan Lake, Alta.
Cost: Free

You’ll be guided through a unique eco-dyeing experience where you’ll learn about the history of botanical dyeing while making your own beautiful creation.
