Props and Hops is an event run by the Alberta Museum, which acts as an adults-only evening in the museum. This time, they’re turning the museum into a game night extravaganza. This market in Old Strathcona has been around for ages, and it’s Edmonton’s most premier farmers’ market. Being the original year-rounder, this place offers the best locally grown and made goods as well as trinkets you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

Here, you can explore an array of snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians, and invertebrates, all of which are showcased by excellent breeders and knowledgeable experts. You can educate yourself on these creatures and even get the chance to handle them yourself, as well as find everything you’ll need for your scaly friends at home.

Queen Mary’s Market is located in the heart of Edmonton and offers over 130 vendors, as well as five individual restaurants within the building. This market takes on strong local vendors with a selection of antiques, rare collectibles, local produce, artisanal goods, and services.
