Another weekend has already rolled around, and it’s time to take full advantage. There are community block parties, an arts festival, and concerts galore to check out! Here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this weekend (July 24-26).

Everyone’s favourite free outdoor music and beer festival is returning to Dude Chilling Park this weekend, complete with local brews, great vibes, and free outdoor concerts all day long.

When: Saturday, July 25, 2026
Time: 1 to 7 p.m.
Where: 2390 Brunswick St. 
Cost: Free admission

Mount Pleasant’s annual 11th & Main Block Party is back from noon to 6 p.m. this Sunday, with plenty of music, food truck eats, drinks, live music, and family-friendly activities to keep the fun going.

When: Sunday, July 26, 2026
Time: Noon to 6 p.m.
Where: 100 Block of East 11th Avenue
Cost: Free

South Granville BIA has organized free community yoga at the plaza bi-weekly from June to August, and the next free session is this Sunday, July 26. Each yoga class is open to all levels and led by local instructors.

When: Sunday, July 26, 2026
Time: 10 to 11 a.m.
Where: Granville Street and West 14th Avenue
Cost: Free

Icelandic indie rock band Of Monsters and Men are on tour, and they’re coming to Queen Elizabeth Theatre this weekend.

When: Saturday, July 25, 2026
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: 630 Hamilton St. 
Cost: $89.96

You still have time to check out this year’s Eastside Arts Fest, which includes a free, all-day outdoor party at MacLean Park on Saturday, July 25. Hosted in collaboration with the Rickshaw Theatre and the Strathcona BIA, the event will feature live music, public art activities, and an array of food trucks to sample, including Dos Amigos, Stik Pop, Midnight Joe’s, and Chickpea.

A beer garden will feature sips from Strange Fellows Brewing from 3 to 8 p.m.

Where: Various Eastside Arts District (EAD) studios, breweries, and performance venues 
Cost: Free and ticketed events

The iconic Shakespeare comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor is kicking off this year’s Bard on the Beach program, set in the community athletic centre of a (fictional) Vancouver suburb that happens to be obsessed with soccer. There are also a handful of other Shakespeare-inspired productions to keep an eye out for if you’re ready to check out what’s onstage next: Macbeth (now until Sept. 18, Goblin:Oedipus (now until Sept. 19), and Antigone (now until Sept. 18).

This summer, two beloved musicals known for their feel-good music and inspiring storylines take the stage at Vancouver’s Malkin Bowl. Theatre Under the Stars is officially back for its 86th year of live theatre, showcasing Sister Act and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

When: Friday, July 3 to Aug. 22, 2026

Where: 610 Pipeline Rd.
Cost: $35 to $69 for GA

The zipline is back, the less-than-$10 happy hour items are back, and tons of exciting new attractions await at this year’s Richmond Night Market.

Fans can dive into how both early adjustments and more recent innovations have changed the way we experience professional soccer. This Science World exhibition also highlights the host nations of the FIFA World Cup 2026, with objects connected to Canada’s recent international football history on display.

Ice cream crawl, anyone? The Vancouver Ice Cream Fest is the perfect way to try a wide range of scoops from as many ice cream shops as your heart desires. It’s Metro Vancouver’s largest self-guided ice cream and frozen dessert festival for a reason.
