Edmonton, you can expect a full weekend coming up this time.

There is so much to do this weekend in Edmonton, genuinely. Whether it’s a film festival, a concert, a market, or something entirely different, we’ve got you covered. With the spring coming in slowly, the events in the city are slowly but surely starting to heat up!

There’s no question that Edmonton has some of the best escape rooms around. We’ve rounded up the best of them in a list for you folks to check out as a family, and maybe, just maybe, you might be able to escape.

This is Edmonton’s science centre, with feature displays, interactive learning opportunities, and so much more. Here, you can even catch a movie in IMAX or visit its new exhibit, Jurassic World by Brickman.

FAVA Fest is the Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta’s annual celebration of the remarkable film, video, and media artwork. This Friday, it will hold one of its screenings with a plethora of films.

Time: 6 p.m.
Where: 7000 143rd St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Admission by donation

Friday Night Trivia is hosted each week at Telus World of Science’s Purple Pear Restaurant. This event is not only free but also family-friendly, so everyone can participate and compete.

When: Every Friday
Time: 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Telus World of Science — 11211 142nd St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

Take in a beautiful Beethoven symphony while enjoying a simple refreshment. Included with the ticket is one free food or beverage item.

There’s a free market offering all things K-Pop and kawaii. With over 75 vendors, you can take a stroll and look at the merch, maid cafe, dances, and more.

Time: Noon to 5 p.m.
Where: 2331 66th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

This Malla Market is themed Daytime Disco Market. Expect a Harry Styles listening party as well as over 35 local makers and small businesses.

When: Saturday, March 21, 2026, and Sunday, March 22, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday
Where: Kingsway Mall — 109 Kingsway NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

ArtBus is a free, all-ages, one-day event in Edmonton that focuses on taking riders across downtown Edmonton and the art galleries within it. Participants will ride to these centres on special ETS buses, decorated from bottom to top with gorgeous designs.

Cost: Free

Co*Lab, a grassroots arts organization, has been holding Glow for 10 years now. Since competing with other Glow events in the city, this year, Co*Lab has decided to rename the lantern parade “March.”
