2000s Rock Band Announces Return to Popular Venue for the First Time in 21 Years

7 February 20263 Mins Read

The Kinison teased fans with a surprising announcement regarding their comeback.

Known for energetic and raw sound following their hit sophomore album What Are You Listening To? The band gained widespread popularity after touring with Blink-182 and taking the stage at Coachella in 2003.

Years later, they are stepping back into the spotlight with an exciting news.

After their long hiatus, following a brief reunion with their comeback EP Oh, The Guilt in 2013, the post-hardcore band led by vocalist Christopher Lee Lewis marks their triumphant return to the music scene with a special performance.

Tracing where it all began, The Kinison confirmed an upcoming show on May 29, 2026, at the legendary Glass House Concert Hall in Pomona, California.

Not only will it signal a celebrated return, but it also commemorates their first performance at the iconic venue in 21 years. Moreover, the one-night event is sure to electrify both longtime fans and new listeners alike.

“The Kinison are coming to The Glass House Pomona on May 29, 2026!” the caption reads.

Adding to the excitement, the five-member band also mentioned a surprise performance from special guests.

The Instagram update sparked anticipation from fans who were thrilled to see them perform live at the Glass House Concert Hall.

“Sweet got my tix. That night was epic. Looking forward to seeing you guys again!” a follower said.

“Unbelievable!” a commenter added.

A follower also wrote a sweet message saying “HOLY S–T!!!!!! What I would give to be able to go to this!!!! Can’t believe it’s been 21 years! Portland, OR needs a show!! PLEASE, DEAR GOD, GO ON TOUR. Hahah, this band literally shaped who I am as a human. IDK how 16-year-old me found you guys, but man am I glad I did. Okay, that’s all, love you, bye.”

On top of this, fans are also requesting a series of live shows or even a full tour to reconnect with the band.

Following the announcement, the Kinison frontman expressed his special connection with the location, making it a meaningful choice for their return performance.

“The Glasshouse always felt like our home venue, so it felt fitting to make our return there,” he said, as reported by the PRP, adding, “We’d sometimes get last-minute calls to fill in after a band dropped off a show or couldn’t make it — we were the house band. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve been on that stage.”
