Jessica Alba, one of the most recognizable screen stars of the 2000s and a businesswoman behind a once billion-dollar brand, is celebrating a milestone birthday this week.
The actress, who first captured global attention as a young action lead, has since built a career that stretches beyond Hollywood, most notably through the creation of The Honest Company.
Alba turned 45 on Tuesday, marking another chapter in a life that has balanced fame, business success and personal change. Many fans continue to note how youthful she looks, even as she reflects on decades in the public eye.

To mark her birthday, Alba took to Instagram to share moments from her celebration along with a heartfelt reflection.
“Another trip around the sun – and somehow softer, stronger, more myself than I’ve ever been, ” Alba wrote.
“This past year was a beautiful one. The kind that stretches you in all the right ways, opens you up, and shows you just how much love and light you’re surrounded by. I’m walking into this next year with more grace, more joy, more gratitude, and a deeper love for the people who make my life mine,” she continued.

Alba rose to fame at just 19 years old when she played Max Guevara in the hit TV series Dark Angel (2000–2002), a role that earned her a Golden Globe nomination and cemented her status as a rising star. She quickly transitioned into film, leading projects like Honey (2003) and appearing in major box office hits such as Fantastic Four (2005) and its 2007 sequel.
Her acting career expanded with roles in films including Sin City (2005), Good Luck Chuck (2007), The Eye (2008) and Valentine’s Day (2010), showcasing her range across genres—from action and thriller to romance and comedy. Over time, she became a familiar face in Hollywood and frequently collaborated with director Robert Rodriguez.
But Alba’s ambitions went beyond acting. In 2011, she co-founded The Honest Company after becoming frustrated as a new mother by the lack of safe, transparent household and baby products on the market. That personal concern turned into a business idea that quickly gained traction.
The company expanded into diapers, baby products, beauty items and household goods. During its peak growth years, The Honest Company reached a reported valuation of about $1 billion by 2014 and roughly $1.7 billion by 2015, making it one of the most talked-about celebrity-founded brands of its time.
While the company’s valuation has since shifted, its early success firmly established Alba as a serious entrepreneur, not just a celebrity endorser.
Alongside her professional milestones, Alba’s personal life has also drawn public attention in recent years. In early 2025, she confirmed her separation from husband Cash Warren after two decades together.
The former couple share three children: Honor, Haven and Hayes, who remain central to Alba’s life. Just days before her birthday, the actress posted a series of photos celebrating Earth Day, including a rare beach snapshot with all three of her children.

From her early days as a teenage actress to her rise as a Hollywood leading lady and later as a founder of a billion-dollar brand at its peak, Alba’s story reflects both reinvention and resilience.
