28 May 20263 Mins Read

Alanis Morissette, one of the most recognizable music icons of the ‘90s, gave fans another reason to celebrate.

The award-winning singer, whose legacy was defined by her timeless hits “Ironic,” “Hand in My Pocket” and “You Oughta Know,” has officially been announced as one of the headliners for an upcoming music festival.

The 2026 Riot Fest will showcase the 51-year-old singer performing her signature chart-topping songs that made her one of the most influential artists of the 1990s.

Following the festival’s announcement, Morissette will be joining the progressive metal and rock band Tool along with Twenty One Pilots and Pierce the Veil as headliners.

The highly anticipated annual event will take place from Sept. 18 through 20 at Douglass Park in Chicago.

Apart from the headliners, concertgoers will get to see intense performances from more than 100 acts across rock, hip-hop and punk.

The three-day festival also includes legendary acts from notable bands and musicians including Iggy Pop, Morrissey, Pixies, Patti Smith, Sex Pistols and Elvis Costello & The Imposters.

Adding to the exciting lineup, the organization announced a special treat for lucky fans, who can win 3-Day VIP tickets.

“Tickets on sale now at RiotFest.org?. To celebrate, we’re giving away a pair of 3-Day VIP tickets to the festival. Here’s how to enter. Share this post to your story. Tag the friend you’d like to bring with to the fest. Follow @riot_fest. Winner picked on 6/11,” the caption reads.

The seven-time Grammy winner is booked and busy with a string of shows for her ongoing tour.

Following the success of her Triple Moon Tour in 2024, Morissette announced in December 2025 that she would embark on a series of performances in Europe during the summer.

In a post on Instagram, the singer revealed the dates for the U.K. and Ireland shows, which will kick off on June 24 in Cork, Ireland, followed by performances in Exeter, Woodstock, Glasgow, Lytham and London before wrapping up in Scarborough, England on July 7.
