IHCL to Open Gateway Resort in Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir

IHCL has announced the signing of a new hotel under its Gateway brand in Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir, marking a conversion project with plans for future expansion.

IHCL has entered into an agreement to open a new resort under its Gateway brand in Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir. The project involves converting an existing property and includes plans for future expansion. The resort will feature 78 rooms and aims to cater to increasing demand from regions such as Punjab, Delhi NCR, and Jammu.

The Gateway Patnitop will include an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar. Additional amenities will comprise two swimming pools, one of which will be heated, a fitness center, and treatment rooms. For events, the resort will offer a banquet hall spanning over 4,000 square feet.

This development is part of IHCL’s strategy to expand its presence in leisure markets. Patnitop is a hill station in Jammu & Kashmir, known for its natural landscapes and opportunities for adventure sports, including paragliding, trekking, and skiing. The area also features attractions like Natha Top and Billo Ki Powri.

With this new addition, IHCL will have a total of 12 hotels in Jammu & Kashmir, including six that are currently under development.
