Call for Speakers Announced for HFTP 2026 Annual Convention

The Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) is accepting presentation proposals for its 2026 Annual Convention, scheduled for September 22-24 in Reno, Nevada.

The HFTP Annual Convention, scheduled for the Peppermill Resort, Casino & Spa in Reno, Nevada, is now accepting presentation proposals from industry professionals. The event, scheduled for September 22-24, 2026, will focus on a range of topics relevant to hospitality finance and technology sectors.

The convention aims to bring together hundreds of hospitality professionals for three days of educational sessions, vendor showcases, networking opportunities, and social activities. The Education Advisory Council, responsible for planning the event’s program, is seeking proposals that address current industry issues and trends.

Interested professionals are encouraged to submit proposals that are industry-specific and designed for seasoned hospitality professionals. Suggested topics include managing upward, difficult conversations, staffing, AI and cybersecurity, sustainability, leadership, ethics, legal updates, technology updates in hospitality, strategic planning, project management, accounting standards, work-life balance, and conflict management.

The deadline for proposal submissions is March 13, 2026. Selected presenters will receive complimentary convention registration, but will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
