Chipotle Delights Fans With New Budget-Friendly Promotion – But It's Only Available For a Limited Time

With the start of a new year comes the inevitable promise to kick start new habits.

From eating a healthier diet to working out on a more regular basis, the beginning of another year typically comes hand-in-hand with the intention to make thoughtful new year’s resolutions.

To that end, Chipotle is offering fans all the help they might need to see their resolutions through, specifically through their one-day promotion allowing fans to experience free double protein this Tuesday.

According to a new press release from the company, the popular Mexican food chain has officially unveiled their new “free double protein offer” to help diners fuel up for their next trip to the gym.

The offer will be available only for January 13, with Chipotle citing the fact that Tuesday is the most popular day to work out among general consumers.

“With consumers prioritizing active lifestyles in January, Chipotle is curating its menu and offerings to help guests hit their fitness and dietary goals,” the restaurant said in their announcement.

To take advantage of the deal, diners will need to have a Chipotle Rewards program membership in the U.S. or Canada. Using their online account, users can then select a bowl, burrito or salad with double protein and enter the code PROTEIN to receive the extra serving of protein entirely for free.

As common visitors to Chipotle are sure to know, proteins currently featured on the restaurant’s menu include Adobo Chicken, Steak, Braised Beef Barbacoa, Carnitas and Sofritas. 

Similarly, diners can also apply one-day deal to any item off Chipotle’s new High Protein Menu, which includes the following clean dishes:

• Double High Protein Bowl – A protein-packed burrito bowl featuring double Adobo Chicken, light white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, Monterey Jack cheese and extra romaine lettuce.
• Double High Protein Burrito – A protein-packed burrito featuring double Adobo Chicken, fresh tomato salsa, fajita veggies, Monterey Jack cheese and romaine lettuce
• Josh Hart’s High Protein Burrito – The go-to order of pro basketball player Josh Hart, featuring double Adobo Chicken, white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, sour cream, Monterey Jack cheese.
