Dear Hongrang and Alchemy of Souls actor Lee Jae Wook has been confirmed to lead Netflix’s upcoming horror-comedy K-drama, Dead-End Job. Netflix has confirmed that the K-drama will be released in Q4 2026. Here’s everything we know about Dead-End Job on Netflix.
Dead-End Job (formerly Perfect Job) is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original fantasy comedy-horror directed by Kim Da Min and Han Jun Hee.
When is Dead-End Job coming to Netflix?
Netflix has confirmed that Dead-End Job will be released in Q4 2026 (October-December). This was one of dozens of major announcements made for Netflix’s 2026 Korean slate.
What is the plot of Dead-End Job?
Netflix has provided a synopsis for Dead-End Job:
“Hyuk-jun. a young man who takes on a seemingly perfect part-time job offering 50 times the usual hourly wage through a mysterious employment agency called Spyder Human Resource Center. However, the job quickly becomes a nightmare as he encounters strange and terrifying phenomena.”
Who is in the cast of Dead-End Job?
Lee Jae Wook was the first confirmed cast member. He will portray Byeon Hyeok Jun. The actor has already starred in a handful of lead roles for Netflix, such as Extraordinary You, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, and both seasons of Alchemy of Souls. He is also starring in the lead role in the upcoming Netflix series Dear Hongrang.

Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Hee Joon have also been confirmed to have leading roles in the K-drama.
Go Min Si plays the role of Yeon Ju. The actress previously starred in Netflix K-dramas, including Sweet Home, The Frog, Live, and Love Alarm. She will also star in the K-drama Tastefully Yours.
The character of Yeon Ju has been described as:
“An investigator determined to uncover the truth behind the unsettling events at Spyder Human Resource Center.”

Kim Min Ha plays Byeon Ji Yun. The actress has yet to star in a Netflix project, and has starred in several leading roles in K-dramas such as Way Back Love, Light Shop, Pachinko, and Not Alright But It’s Alright
The character of Kim Min Ha has been described as:
“Hyuk-jun’s spirited younger sister, who lives by the motto “poverty is scarier than ghosts.””

Lee Hee Joon plays Kang Jun. The actor has starred in Netflix K-dramas such as Karma, A Killer Paradox, Vincenzo, and films including Bogota: City of the Lost and Badland Hunters.
