Corinthia Hotels, RoundShield, and Kervis SGR have announced plans for a 58-key luxury resort in Lake Como, Italy, with operations targeted for late 2028.
Corinthia Hotels has entered into a partnership with RoundShield and Kervis SGR to operate a new resort in Lake Como, Italy. The property, named Corinthia Lake Como, will feature 58 rooms and suites and is described as a fully integrated resort development.
The Corinthia Lake Como will be located next to Italy’s second-oldest golf course in Menaggio, situated in the foothills of the Pre-Alps. The development will include a beach club on the western shore of Lake Como. The resort is planned to feature three branded residences, with public spaces distributed across three villas that will house the lobby, lounge, and golf club. The design is intended to provide views of the surrounding mountains and lake.
Plans for the resort include spa, wellness, and dining facilities, as well as a lakefront club with direct access to the water at the widest part of Lake Como. The guestrooms and suites are planned to be integrated into the natural contours of the land.
Corinthia Lake Como will be the second property for the Corinthia brand in Italy.
The property is owned by the Putter Fund and is being developed by Kervis SGR S.p.A. Kervis SGR is the asset manager of the Putter Fund, which is fully invested by a RoundShield entity. According to the announcement, Kervis SGR manages over €1.5 billion in assets.
Construction of the resort is expected to begin after final planning approvals are obtained. Operations are targeted for late 2028.
