Production Eyed for March 2026 & What Else We Know So Far

A new exciting thriller from Lauren Iungerich, Poser, is in development at Netflix and is eyed to begin filming in March 2026. The series has already cast Sadie Stanley, Daisy Jelley, and Annie Murphy in the lead roles. Here’s everything we know so far about Poser on Netflix.

Poser is an upcoming Netflix Original thriller series created by Lauren Iungerich, who will serve as showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the series. Her production studio, Crazy Cat Lady Entertainment, is the production company behind the series and is joined by executive producer Jamie Dooner.

What is the plot of Poser?

Netflix has provided a logline for the series:

“Poser centers around two estranged former best friends. When one of them is given a chance to live the life she’s long coveted, and maybe get answers as to why they fell out years ago, she finds herself in a psychological game of revenge, betrayal, and heartbreak— ultimately altering their lives, and those around them, forever.”

Who are the cast members of Poser?

So far, three leads have been confirmed for Poser: Sadie Stanley, Daisy Jelley, and Annie Murphy. All of the character details have yet to be revealed.

Sadie Stanley recently starred in Sony’s Karate Kid: Legends and previously appeared in television shows such as Cruel Summer as Megan Landry and The Goldbergs as Brea Bee. She also starred in Netflix’s black comedy Dead to Me.

Daisy Jelley is most well-known for starring in movies such as How to Have Sex and Marked Men, and for her roles in television shows such as Geek Girl, The Faceless Lady, and Miss Fallaci.

Annie Murphy is instantly recognisable as Alexis Rose from the smash-hit comedy Schitt’s Creek, and for a leading role in an episode of Black Mirror. She also starred in Netflix’s Russian Doll and Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers.

What is the production status of Poser?

In issue 1478 of Production Week, it has been reported that Poser is scheduled to begin filming in March 2026. The shoot is reported to last for a few months before ending in June 2026.

What is the episode count?

There will be 8 episodes in total. Each episode will have an approximate runtime of one hour.

When is Poser coming to Netflix?

At the time of writing, there is no announced Netflix release date for the series. Given the filming schedule, it’s highly unlikely that the series will be released on Netflix in 2026.

We’d expect to see the series on Netflix sometime in 2027.
