Picture: All of Us Are Dead – Netflix
After seven months of intense production, All of Us Are Dead season 2 is finally crossing the finish line. While Netflix has yet to issue an official statement, key cast members and extras have confirmed that cameras have stopped rolling. Here is the full roundup of the production timeline, confirmed cast, and what to expect.
All of Us Are Dead remains one of the most successful South Korean shows on Netflix. Premiering in January 2022, it racked up nearly 125 million viewing hours in its first week alone and, between 2023 and 2025, picked up an additional 480.5M hours, equating to 39.2M views. Well, fans will be delighted to learn that after several months of production for All of Us Are Dead season 2, filming is finally wrapping up.
Production Timeline: From Table Read to Wrap
Filming for Season 2 officially kicked off following a table read announcement by Netflix Korea on July 23, 2025. This aligns perfectly with the recent wrap reports, marking roughly seven months of shooting.
Several cast members have already taken to social media in recent weeks to confirm they have wrapped for the season:

- Choi Yi Hyun (Choi Nam-ra): Wrapped on February 4, 2026.
- Park Ji Hu (Nam On-jo): Wrapped on February 18, 2026.
- Zombie Extras: Confirmed filming concluded on February 14, 2026.
Both leading actresses shared photos of special decorative cakes gifted to them as a thank-you for their work. Furthermore, unverified reports claim that the final wrap party was held on February 19, 2026, with leading actor Yoon Chan Young also finishing his scenes.

The Cast: Returning Survivors and New Faces
The question of “who survived” has been a major topic since the cliffhanger ending of Season 1. We can now confirm a mix of returning veterans and fresh talent for Season 2.
Returning Cast:
- Park Ji Hu as Nam On-jo
- Yoon Chan Young as Lee Cheong-san (Confirming his character’s survival or return in some form)
- Cho Yi Hyun as Choi Nam-ra
- Park Solomon (Lomon) as Lee Su-hyeok
New Cast Members: Joining the survival effort are Roh Jae-won (Squid Game), Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, and Yoon Ga-i.
What to Expect in Season 2
While the first season, based on Joo Dong-geun’s webtoon Now at Our School, focused on the initial outbreak and the students’ escape, Season 2 aims to expand the universe.
Director Lee Jae-kyu has previously teased that while Season 1 was about the survival of humanity, Season 2 might focus more heavily on “zombie survival.” With the story written specifically with a second season in mind, the plot is expected to explore the aftermath of the virus spreading beyond Hyosan High School and into the surrounding areas.
So, when is All of Us Are Dead season 2 released on Netflix?
Multiple social media accounts have circulated rumors of a December 2026 release. However, this remains optimistic.
Given that Netflix did not include the series in its initial Korean 2026 slate and considering the heavy visual effects required for a zombie apocalypse series, a release in early 2027 is looking increasingly likely.
