Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has appointed Duncan Bond as Hotel Manager. Bond brings more than 15 years of international hospitality experience across Europe and the Africa–Indian Ocean region. His previous roles include Director of Operations at Hilton The Hague, Operations Manager at Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa, and, most recently, General Manager of Hotel Indigo The Hague Noordeinde Palace.

At Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, Bond will oversee daily operations across the resort’s two natural islands, with responsibilities covering service delivery, culinary operations, and team management. His focus will be on maintaining the resort’s established standards while refining and enhancing guest experiences.

Bond was born and raised in the Netherlands and has Moluccan and British heritage. His leadership approach is shaped by cultural diversity and a global outlook. His career includes leading full-scale renovations, repositioning luxury resorts, and introducing new dining and bar concepts.

Bond has a background in competitive football and has completed the Cape Town Marathon. He draws parallels between sports and hospitality management, emphasizing teamwork, communication, and the recognition of individual strengths in a team environment.
