Alejandro Lopez Appointed Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest

Alejandro Lopez has been named Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest. In this role, Lopez oversees all culinary and beverage operations at the hotel, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and events.

Madrid-born and a graduate of Vatel, Nîmes, Lopez brings nearly 18 years of Four Seasons experience across London, Paris, Lisbon, and Madrid. He began his career in London and later joined the task force to reopen the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. In Paris, he contributed to Four Seasons Hotel George V, including the opening of L’Orangerie and its first Michelin star, and oversaw venues such as La Galerie.

Lopez later returned to Spain as Director of Food and Beverage, where he helped launch Four Seasons Hotel Madrid and collaborated with Chef Dani García to elevate Dani Brasserie. He is known for his refined service philosophy, passion for wine, and for creating memorable experiences for both international travelers and local guests.

Lopez’s approach in Budapest blends local heritage with international inspiration, with a focus on showcasing Hungarian artisans and producers. He has expressed particular admiration for the wines of Tokaj. Plans for the coming year include introducing new culinary experiences and positioning Gresham Palace as a culinary destination within Budapest’s dining scene.
