Both Kidman and Witherspoon, who co-starred in HBO’s TV adaptation of Big Little Lies in 2017, own property in Nashville and count each other as neighbors.

Delighted fans caught a glimpse of Nicole Kidman Saturday night as she left Witherspoon’s 50th birthday bash in downtown Nashville. Kidman flaunted her tall, statuesque physique in a black strapless lace corset top and silver jeans. Kidman’s strapless look showcased her toned arms and iconic strawberry blonde hair.
Kidman and husband Keith Urban announced their separation in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage, and the actress showed no signs of breakup blues as she smiled for photographs and energetically made her way down the street to her awaiting car.
“Somebody is in her Gillian Owens era and I’m here for it,” commented one viewer, referencing Kidman’s Practical Magic character.
Another clever commenter, referencing Kidman’s now-iconic AMC Theatres advertisements, wrote, “Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place like…Nashville.”

Nicole Kidman’s Nashville Connection
Nicole Kidman made a recent appearance at the Nashville Film Festival, where she shared her desire to bring more film projects to her adopted hometown of Nashville, alongside Witherspoon, whose Draper James company is based there. Kidman and Witherspoon forged a deep friendship while starring in the 2017 TV adaptation of Liane Moriarty’sBig Little Lies and now count each other as neighbors, with Kidman commenting, “I can wave from my kitchen to her kitchen!”
Kidman also filmed the first season of Prime Video’s Scarpetta in Nashville and plans to bring more TV and film projects to the area alongside Witherspoon, stating, “There is so much room here for production.”
