Alberta hot springs that offer relaxation, scenic views, and adventure all in one

24 March 20262 Mins Read

Hot springs, mountain views, and a little adventure? Alberta has it all. The province is home to a mix of scenic hot springs and spa-style escapes, where you can soak up the warm water while enjoying the crisp mountain air.

From iconic spots in Banff and Jasper, to hidden hikes and relaxing Nordic-style experiences, these are some of the best hot springs to check out across the province.

A visit to Kananaskis spa is all about slowing down. The Nordic-style experience encourages guests to rotate through hot pools, cold plunges, and relaxation areas.

With its peaceful setting and scenic views, it’s a great spot for those looking to unwind in an elevated way.

Everwild in Canmore offers a modern take on the hot springs experience. The 40,000-square-foot Nordicc spa features thermal pools, barrel saunas, and a sleek modern hotel and restaurant. Since opening in late 2025, it’s become a must-visit destination for those seeking an experience with both relaxation and luxury

If you don’t mind the drive, Miette Springs, located in Jasper, is well worth the trip. Known for its naturally hot mineral water, the pools provide a perfect place to escape the city.
