Langham Hospitality Group has been engaged by Jinan Licheng District Quanfuhe Investment Development Co. Ltd. to manage The Langham, Jinan, a new hotel planned for the central business district of Century-Old Honglou in Jinan, China, with an expected opening in 2029.
Langham Hospitality Group has entered into an agreement with Jinan Licheng District Quanfuhe Investment Development Co. Ltd. to manage a luxury hotel to be built in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, China. The property, to be known as The Langham, Jinan, will be located in the central business district of Century-Old Honglou in Licheng District.
The Langham, Jinan is planned to feature 286 guest rooms and suites. The hotel will be situated on a site measuring approximately 35,000 square meters. The design is intended to incorporate elements inspired by Jinan’s springs and The Langham’s 160-year heritage.
Planned amenities include several dining venues, including an outpost of LHG’s three-Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant, T’ang Court. Additional facilities are expected to include a destination bar, meeting and event spaces, and wellness amenities under the Chuan Spa brand.
The surrounding area of Century-Old Honglou in Licheng District is noted for its historical buildings, including Hongjialou Cathedral, the Shandong Provincial Library, and the Shandong University campus. The central business district is home to commercial activity and is near several of Jinan’s springs.
The Langham, Jinan is expected to open in 2029.
