Bill Pullman and His Lookalike Son Work the Red Carpet Together and They’re a Handsome Dynamic Duo

Actor Bill Pullman may be a Hollywood staple, but his son, Lewis Pullman, is a rising star.

Bill, 72, has a diverse resume that includes everything from Spaceballs and While You Were Sleeping to The Accidental Tourist and Independence Day. He’s also a seasoned theater actor. But we’re guessing the star’s favorite role is devoted dad, because he hit the red carpet at CinemaCon alongside his handsome son, Lewis. The duo, who star alongside each other in the upcoming Spaceballs sequel, titled Spaceballs: The New One, joined several of their castmates from the 1987 original, including Rick Moranis and Daphne Zuniga.

One glance at the dynamic duo and it’s pretty safe to say that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Clearly, Lewis inherited his dad’s good looks!

Lewis Recalled His Dad Being Approached By Fans as a Kid

Growing up, Lewis recalled fans always approaching his dad when the family would go out for dinner together.

“And I was always like, ‘Well, what’s the big deal? I mean, he’s the best dad ever, but they don’t know that.’ And then once I dabbled in acting and started understanding the magnitude of his talent, that was when I was like, ‘Okay, there should be a lot more people asking for him to do this Independence Day speech,’” Lewis said in Interview Magazine, referencing Pullman’s role in the 1996 action movie, in which he plays the President of the United States.

What’s Next for Bill Pullman?

In addition to his role in the Spaceballs sequel, which will hit theaters in April 2027, Pullman is set to appear in the Duffer Brothers‘ upcoming Netflix supernatural mystery The Boroughs. According to Deadline, the series “is set in a seemingly picturesque retirement community where a group of unlikely heroes must band together to stop an otherworldly threat from stealing the one thing they don’t have… time.”

Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard,Clarke Peters, and Denis O’Hare also star in the series.
