All eyes were on Nicole Kidman as she made her way up the iconic Met Gala steps on Monday.
The actress stunned in a fiery—and feathery—red dress on May 4 at the annual fundraiser. The form-fitting look featured shimmering red sequins and dramatic feathered cuffs, while pairing the statement piece with art deco-inspired earrings and rings. Kidman rocked her long blonde hair sleek and straight for the occasion, with face framing bands, as well.
The look definitely aligned with this year’s Met Gala theme of “Costume Art,” with the event encouraging attendees to lean into dramatic outfits that treat the body as a sort of canvas.
And Kidman wasn’t just an attendee this year—she also served as a co-chair of the event along with celebs like Venus Williams, Beyoncé, and former Vogue global editorial director Anna Wintour. She also was co-chair back in 2023 and 2005 as well.
This year, the Moulin Rouge star arrived alongside her daughter, Sunday Rose, who wore an equally stunning gown. Sunday, 17, opted for a pink strapless dress which featured bursts of deeper pinks and purples, which had almost a fuzzy-like appearance. She paired the look with matching earrings made out of the same material, and also wore her hair straight and down.

Notably, this marked Kidman’s first Met Gala appearance without Keith Urban by her side in years, following their recent split. The two had been married for nearly two decades before going their separate ways in 2025.

Reports from Australian outlet New Idea recently suggested that Sunday briefly unfollowed her father on social media before quickly re-following him, a move that didn’t go unnoticed online. Urban has not addressed the situation directly, aside from maintaining that “Family is private,” in a brief statement.
Still, fans have pointed out that Kidman has been more frequently seen stepping out publicly with Sunday and 15-year-old daughter Faith Margaret in recent years, while Urban was last publicly spotted with his girls in 2024.
