Everyone should follow Logitech and put extra USB ports on iPad keyboard cases

As with the original Combo 4 that debuted a couple of years ago, the new 4c versions are specifically designed for use by schools and are generally only sold to educational institutions through authorized Logitech distributors. However, the older versions have found their way onto Amazon through some resellers and are priced at around $140 to $150.

Features and functionality being carried forward include a spill-resistant fully sealed keyboard that’s easy to clean, drop protection up to heights of 6.6 feet, and the use of the iPad’s Smart Connector so the keyboard doesn’t need a battery or charging. The 4c Touch adds a multitouch trackpad for scrolling and zooming, or using the iPad’s multitasking features. In addition to the extra USB-C port the case also features an updated design allowing the Apple Pencil to magnetically attach while the case’s latch keeps the stylus securely locked down during transport.
