Apple Arcade launches free Bluey crossover event for several games

If you live in the kind of household that has perpetual Bluey fever, you might want to check out Apple Arcade right now. The subscription service just launched a month-long event that adds Bluey to several Apple Arcade games, including Suika Game+ and Crossy Road Castle.

The event is a bit unique for Apple Arcade. Apple’s long-running service has consistently added new games since its launch in 2019, but this crossover sees existing games introducing free Bluey-themed updates that will only be available for a limited time. The event begins today and will continue through July 8.

Five games have gotten a Bluey makeover as part of the update: Crossy Road Castle, Suika Game+, Stitch, Puffies, and Disney Coloring World+. Some of those games have gotten some significant new content, as I learned at a hands-on event ahead of the launch. Crossy Road Castle, in particular, got a major update today which turns Bingo’s House into an obstacle course. Players can tackle that challenge together using a host of new characters from the cartoon. Other updates are a bit more… subtle. Suika Game+ mostly just changed the faces on its fruit and dropped in some Bluey-themed backgrounds to play on.

If you’re looking for a recommendation, the crossover is as good an excuse as any to check out Stitch. (Which is also now available on Nintendo Switch, sans Bluey.) The puzzle game, where you stitch embroidery hoops together, is one of Apple Arcade’s best games thanks to its gentle vibe and tactile play. It added a set of new Bluey hoops as part of the crossover event. Developer Lykke Studios is also adding Bluey content to Puffies, its equally delightful sticker-pack jigsaw puzzle game, on June 10.

The event comes as Apple Arcade tightens its focus around kid’s games. The service added Nick Jr. Replay to its library in April, and it will further buff up its family game options with Talking Tom 2+ on June 4. It feels like a strategic pivot from a distance, but the push lines up with the upcoming summer season when kids will be out of school. Apple Arcade has continued to court older gamers throughout 2026 with games like Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea and a mobile port of Civilization 7.

The limited-time event will end on June 21 for Crossy Road Castle, Suika Game+, and Disney Coloring Game+. Stitch‘s event will end on June 24, while Puffies will continue through July 8.
