Taco Bell Is Giving Away Free Tacos Through July 13—Here’s How to Claim Yours

27 June 20262 Mins Read

Taco Bell is offering free tacos to World Cup fans through Monday, July 13!

Recently, the fast-food chain announced the launch of L.O.C.O.S., or Loss Or Celebration Outcome Support, an “emotional support taco” promotion tied to the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Here’s how customers can claim their free L.O.C.O.S taco before the offer ends.

How to get a free L.O.C.O.S taco from Taco Bell

After a match concludes, customers can open the Taco Bell app and select either “Celebration Mode” or “Support Mode,” depending on their mood after the match.

They will then be directed to in-app challenges to earn rewards. The first time a customer plays a game, win or lose, they’ll win a free taco with a qualifying purchase. From there, they can continue participating in weekly challenges for additional rewards and exclusive Taco Bell merchandise.

Additionally, the chain is hosting fan activations in Los Angeles, California, and New York City, New York, featuring free tacos, interactive experiences, and giveaways as part of the campaign.

The promotion is available now exclusively to Taco Bell Rewards members through the Taco Bell app. No purchase is necessary to participate.

More World Cup deals ahead

In May, pizza chain Domino’s announced they were giving away thousands of emergency pizzas—or complimentary medium two-topping pizzas—in celebration of the World Cup.

During the tournament, which runs until July 19, Domino’s Rewards members who registered for the promotion can score the deal if any player on the U.S. soccer team receives a red card.

At that time, Domino’s will randomly select more than 60,000 winners to receive a free pizza which must be redeemed by Aug. 2.

According to ESPN, players can receive red cards for a wide range of misconduct, including violent actions, offensive language, spitting, or committing a handball foul.

Players who receive a red card are immediately ejected from the game, and in the World Cup specifically, players are also banned from starting in the next match.
