Infinity Castle streaming release date announced for July 2026

4 July 20262 Mins Read

With Anime Expo 2026 happening this weekend, it was likely that some big Demon Slayer anime news was around the corner. While it wasn’t the big announcement about part 2 of Infinity Castle that fans were hoping for, there’s still something good on the horizon: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle finally has a streaming release date.

The announcement comes a little less than one year after the movie smashed records at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing anime movie of all time. While it’s not that unusual, the long wait left fans of the Demon Slayer franchise a little frustrated. As expected, the movie will be streaming on Crunchyroll, starting on July 28.

The first installment in the movie trilogy that will conclude the animated adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s best-selling manga, Infinity Castle shows the members of the Demon Slayer Corps locked in mortal combat after falling into a trap orchestrated by the king of demons, Muzan. Trapped inside his Infinity Castle, Tanjiro and his companions, including the remaining Hashira, will have to defeat Muzan’s strongest demons, the Upper Moons, before getting to the root of evil himself.

Demon Slayer garnered recognition outside the world of manga after ufotable’s anime adaptation impressed viewers with the fluidity and aesthetic prowess of its visuals, while keeping intact the core of Gotouge’s story of family and revenge. The first movie, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, revolutionized the industry by becoming the highest-grossing anime movie in history, a record that was then beaten by Infinity Castle. If it’s not solely responsible for putting anime at the forefront of the entertainment industry, Demon Slayer surely gave it a big push.

Now, fans will be able to watch Infinity Castle from the coziness of their homes, while they wait for an announcement regarding the release of the next installment in the trilogy.
