Ricki Lake is looking back on one of the best decisions she’s ever made.
The former talk show host, 57, celebrated the second anniversary of her facelift by sharing before-and-after photos on Instagram on Saturday, July 18, while reflecting on her plastic surgery journey.
“Happy 2 year anniversary to me. Yes, 2 years ago today, I had a face lift. Specifically, for those wondering, I had a deep plane lower face and neck lift along with a mild co2 laser,” Lake wrote alongside photos from the procedure, as well as a few shots of her visiting her surgeon, Dr. Allen Foulad.
Citing her 40-pound weight loss as one of the factors that motivated her to go under the knife, Lake said she didn’t like the loose skin that formed under her neck after dropping the weight.
“Back in 2023, I had lost 40 lbs over the course of a year, and did not like the extra skin that hung from below my chin,” she continued, sharing a few makeup-free selfies in addition to the before-and-after shots. “It was never going to tighten up by itself. I took a leap of faith and I’m so grateful I did.”

Praising her doctor for the “long-lasting results,” Lake said she has “no regrets” about undergoing the procedure and added that she’s happy to see other celebrities being honest about the work they’ve had done as well.
“I am also very glad to see so many people over these past couple of years opening up about their own plastic surgery journeys,” the TV personality added.
Lake previously opened up about her facelift during a June 2025 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, calling it “the best facelift I’ve ever seen.”

“I love that I can talk about it. I’m fully transparent, always have been. I don’t want there to be any stigma,” Lake said about her decision to open up about the procedure, with the WWHL appearance marking the first time she publicly discussed the news. “This is something that was bothering me. I lost a lot of weight and I had this certain thing hanging, and I had it fixed.”
Host Andy Cohen also complimented her results, telling Lake, “It looks so good!” The TV exec even joked that he was “heading to L.A.,” to get work done too.
Lake is among a growing number of celebrities who have recently gone public with their facelift transformations, including Kris Jenner,Rosie O’Donnell, and others who have shared their own cosmetic surgery journeys.
