Global Asset Solutions Appoints Jean-Baptiste Ruiz as Asset Manager

Ruiz joins Global Asset Solutions as the group expands in response to client demand and a pipeline of hospitality asset-management mandates across Asia Pacific. The appointment is part of the group’s long-term growth strategy.

Before joining Global Asset Solutions, Ruiz managed a portfolio of 25 hotels with 2,678 rooms and annual revenue exceeding €113 million. His responsibilities included financial, operational and commercial analysis to support ownership decision-making and asset value.

Ruiz has worked in Europe, Australia and Asia with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Park Hyatt and Accor. His experience includes asset performance optimization, portfolio analysis, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital investment strategy and owner reporting.

His previous work also included hotel repositioning and rebranding initiatives, hotel management agreement negotiations, operational implementation, product and brand development, and the design of data-led reporting and performance management tools.
