Hunt Sports Development Plans Mixed-Use District at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX

Hunt Sports Development, Peak Curated Development and VENU plan a mixed-use district on the east side of Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center in Frisco, with groundbreaking slated for 2027.

Hunt Sports Development partnered with Peak Curated Development and Venu Holding Corporation to develop a mixed-use district on the east side of Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center in Frisco. The project is planned to include a boutique hotel, restaurants and a convention center.

The district will be separate from a multi-phase office complex planned for the west side of the stadium, announced last year and will include more than 1 million square feet of office space.

The first phase is planned to include an approximately 290-room boutique hotel and more than 40,000 square feet of convention, meeting and event space. The hotel is to include a full-service restaurant and bar, a rooftop bar and lounge, and a spa and fitness center.

The convention and event center is planned to contain more than 25,000 square feet of dedicated meeting space, including a 15,000-square-foot ballroom. The ballroom will be divisible into smaller breakout rooms and designed to accommodate conferences and conventions, as well as a 3,000-person music hall, live entertainment venue or other large-scale event space.

Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center opened in 2005. The stadium has hosted concerts, women’s national team matches, FIFA World Cup 2026 training sessions and 15 consecutive NCAA Division I Football Championship games. The stadium also serves the Frisco Independent School District.

A $215 million renovation of Toyota Stadium is on schedule to be completed in spring 2028.
