AI-Powered Hotel Operating Company Launches With $7.5 Million in Seed Funding

Sloan Dean has launched AI Hospitality Group, a hotel operating company using AI agents for back-office workflows, with $7.5 million in seed funding and design partnerships with The Ameswell Hotel and Parable Hospitality.

AI Hospitality Group, or AIHG, has launched with an operating model that combines AI agents for back-office work with on-property hospitality teams. Dean founded the company after serving as CEO and president of Remington Hospitality.

AIHG signs hotel management agreements and uses its technology in hotel operations. Its platform includes more than 60 agents and combines more than 20 data sources in a single semantic model. The agents execute workflows across recruiting, accounting, revenue management and marketing.

The model is designed to provide more than 500 basis points of gross operating profit margin improvement for hotel owners. Agents handle back-office work while on-property teams focus on guest-facing responsibilities.

Dean is joined by co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Kishan Dahya; Chief Operating Officer Eve Moore; and founding partner and Head of Data and Analytics Zach Cunningham.

Moore previously served as executive vice president of operations at Magna Hospitality Group and divisional vice president of operations at Remington Hospitality. At AIHG, she oversees the operations model, including general managers and on-property teams.

AIHG has formed an advisory board that includes David Kong, former CEO of BWH Hotel Group; Bryan Dunn, founder of Cardinal Lands; Jonathan Vopinek, founder and CEO of White Label Asset Management; Josh Ernst, president and CFO of Long Table Growth Corp.; Steven Nicholas, managing principal of Noble Investment Group; and Scott Roby, president of Parable Hospitality.

The company has entered into two design partnerships. One is with The Ameswell Hotel, an independent hotel in Mountain View, California. The other involves two properties in the Parable Hospitality portfolio. Parable Hospitality is based in Aliso Viejo, California, and oversees more than 30 independent, lifestyle, soft-branded and branded hotels across California and Hawaii.

The partnerships will test the same three agents at a single independent hotel and within a multi-property, multi-brand operating company. The deployments will measure time-to-hire reduction, RFP response speed and revenue forecast accuracy.

Simone Harms, managing director of The Ameswell Hotel, has joined AIHG as an executive adviser.

AIHG has raised $7.5 million in seed funding led by Rackhouse Venture Capital. Sierra Ventures and Dynamo Ventures participated in the round, along with strategic angel investors from hospitality ownership, brand and technology leadership.

The capital will fund expansion of AIHG’s agentic platform and the onboarding of its first managed hotels. Kevin Novak, general partner and founder of Rackhouse Venture Capital, has joined AIHG as a board observer.
