Heated Rivalry fan cruise sets sail in 2027 with Muskoka-inspired cottage-core, Canada Reviews

The Heated Rivalry fandom is heading somewhere even more dramatic than the hockey rink: the open sea. Fans of the popular hockey romance can now spend four glorious days on a cruise ship surrounded by watch parties, hockey jerseys and Muskoka-inspired cottage-core.

The Heated Rivalry at Sea fan cruise is setting sail aboard Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady from March 25 to 29, 2027, bringing all the loons together for a floating celebration before Season 2 arrives.

The sailing experience is being touted as a cruise “built by the fandom, for the fandom,” which means you can expect tons of specific nods to the series, including a Rivalry Kickoff Mixer and Muskoka Nights, where the cottage scenes that have occupied so many fans’ thoughts get the full treatment with a cottage-core lounge and book club chat!

The hockey rivalry will make its way onboard, too. Fans can show their allegiance at a Boston vs. Montreal jersey meetup, test just how closely they’ve been paying attention during trivia and settle in for Season 1 watch parties. The four days wrap up with a farewell sail and toast to the upcoming second season.

The event is independently organized so it isn’t affiliated with Crave, HBO Max or the Heated Rivalry book series. The whole experience is put together by travel professionals who are fans first, so everything should be more intimate than a corporate cruise (organizers even reserved a limited block of cabins for the group rather than a full-ship takeover!).

Sea Terrace cabins currently start at $2,166 total for two guests, while Central Sea Terrace cabins are listed at $2,238 for two, with solo pricing available upon request. The rates cover taxes and fees, gratuities, Wi-Fi, dining and the special group events, as well as a $50 bar tab and $50 in onboard credit per cabin.
