Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of the 201-room Hyatt Regency Jiaxing Nanhu in Jiaxing’s South Lake district on Sept. 28, 2026.
Hyatt Regency Jiaxing Nanhu is located near the shores of South Lake and adjacent to Nanhu Place, which includes retail shops, dining and entertainment. The hotel is the first Hyatt Regency property in Jiaxing and follows the opening of Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu.
Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou are each approximately one hour away by car. The property also has access to high-speed rail and air travel. Nearby sites include the 5A-rated South Lake Scenic Area, Yuehe Historic District and Zicheng Ruins Park.
The hotel has 201 guestrooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows, dedicated workspaces, in-room technology, bathrooms and amenities. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, which provides 24-hour concierge and room service.
Suites and executive floor rooms include Regency Club access. The Club Lounge provides daily breakfast, coffee and evening cocktails. The hotel also includes the Camp Hyatt Kids Club.
Dining facilities include the Lobby Lounge, Xiangyue Chinese Restaurant and Market Cafe. The Lobby Lounge serves afternoon tea. Xiangyue Chinese Restaurant offers seasonal ingredients and Jiaxing flavors prepared using classic techniques. Market Cafe has an open kitchen and food stations serving international and local dishes from breakfast through dinner. Outdoor waterside seating is also available.
Hyatt Regency Jiaxing Nanhu has more than 4,500 square meters, or approximately 48,400 square feet, of meeting and event space. The facilities include a pillarless grand ballroom, a junior ballroom and 10 VIP meeting rooms. The meeting spaces have audiovisual technology and can host conferences, product launches, corporate banquets, weddings and social events. The hotel offers menus featuring locally inspired cuisine.
The property has a 24-hour fitness center with cardio and strength-training equipment and an indoor heated swimming pool. Walking and jogging paths are located along South Lake.
Hyatt Regency Jiaxing Nanhu is located alongside Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu, providing different stay options at the same lakeside location.
