All Solar Power Plant upgrade component locations in Pragmata

17 April 20265 Mins Read

In Pragmata, the Solar Power Plant has the first batch of upgrade components you can find in the game. These collectibles are crucial since you must spend them to upgrade your weapon, hacking ability, and armor. As the first region in the Cradle you can actively explore, there aren’t many secrets to uncover or hidden passages to find — but that doesn’t mean every component is easy to find.

To help you find them and be prepared for upcoming challenges, we put together this guide showing the locations of the Solar Power Plant upgrades in Pragmata.

[Ed. note: This guide contains minor spoilers for Pragmata.]

Solar Power Plant upgrade components in Pragmata

During our playthrough, we found 11 upgrade components in the Solar Power Plant sector. To help you navigate the place and find the ones you might have missed, we listed the block where the components are located, the closest station you can travel to find them, and a short description of how to reach their location.

#01 – General Entrance (Power Plant Platform)

Nearest station: Power Plant Platform

In the first room, take the large door to the right side. Once the door lifts, it’s possible to see an upgrade component. To find it, turn right, left, then left again to enter the room.

#02 – Power Distribution Center (Sealed Sector Gate)

Nearest station: Sealed Sector Gate

Exit the room with the escape hatch and turn left to find a corridor with lasers and a locked door on the far end. On the left side, you will find an upgrade component.

Nearest station: Sealed Sector Gate

After facing a few bots and unlocking the second lock, use the elevator. Next, stick to the right wall and approach the edge of the platform to find an upgrade component on a lower platform.

Nearest station: Sealed Sector Gate

Once out of the elevator, approach the edge and face the opposite platform. Look down, and you will see an upgrade component on the left-hand structure that generates the lasers in the initial corridor of this block. Use your thrusters to reach the place.

Again, take the elevator and, this time, cross over to the higher platform. Climb the orange pipes and follow the trail of lumen to the right. On the platform where there’s a terminal to unlock, get near the wall on the far side (close to two large yellow pipes) and look down.

Nearest station: Sealed Sector Gate

Use the elevator again, cross to the other platform and, instead of following the orange tubes, head left and jump down. Enter the room to your left, where you must kill some enemies. Clear the enemies, then unlock the door. Exit using the door on the side opposite from where you entered and look to your right to find the component.

#07 – Power Distribution Center (Sealed Sector Gate)

Nearest station: Sealed Sector Gate

This upgrade component is on a platform on the right side of the main corridor with lasers. To reach this, you can use the lower-level elevator on the left side and cross to the other using the platforms over the main corridor. Because the upgrade component is too high, you need to raise the platform in front of it by hacking the terminal on the opposite wall.

#08 – Power Distribution Center (Sealed Sector Gate)

Nearest station: Sealed Sector Gate

You will find this upgrade component behind the locked gate in the main corridor. After finding and unlocking the five locks, go back to the main corridor and open the gate to find the component on the left side.

#09 – The Concourse (Main Control Lobby)

Nearest station: Main Control Lobby

From the Main Control Lobby Station, enter the door on the left side of the room. The upgrade component is inside.

Nearest station: Main Control Lobby

Take the elevator before the large circular room with a pillar in the middle. Look to your left to find an opening and the upgrade component.

#11 – Power Distribution Center (Sealed Sector Gate)

You can only obtain this upgrade component after having progressed in the main quest and completed part of the Mass Production Array sector, where you unlock the ability to remove filament clusters.

Once you have this ability, come back to the first sector and take the lower-level elevator on the left side of the main corridor to reach the upper floor. Outside the elevator, turn left and jump over the handrail. You will land in front of a corridor blocked by lumen clusters. Remove them to access a new room.

Defeat the enemies, then use your thrusters to reach a container hanging in the middle of the area. From it, glide to where the upgrade component.
