Ascend Collection, a soft brand of Choice Hotels International, has surpassed 500 open hotels with recent additions in Hollywood, Florida, and Seneca Falls, New York.
Ascend Collection, a soft brand under Choice Hotels International, has surpassed 500 open properties worldwide. The latest additions include The Harrison Hotel in Downtown Hollywood, Florida, and The Gould Hotel in Seneca Falls, New York.
The Harrison Hotel is a 95-room property located in Downtown Hollywood’s historic arts, dining, and entertainment district, with access to Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, Port Everglades, and Port Miami. Amenities include premium bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi and hot breakfast, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, on-site dining and a poolside bar, free airport transportation, and 2,500 square feet of meeting space.
The Gould Hotel in Seneca Falls, New York, is a 48-room property that originally opened in 1920 and has operated for over 105 years. The hotel is located beside the Women’s Rights National Historical Park and is within walking distance of local shops, museums, and canal walks. It features interiors with hardwood floors and historic details, along with amenities such as complimentary breakfast and a fitness center.
As of March 2, Ascend Collection reported a pipeline of 70 properties in key markets in the United States and internationally, with anticipated openings in Flagstaff, Arizona; Anaheim, California; and Miami, Florida.
In the past year, Ascend Collection expanded internationally by entering Poland with its first property, adding six new properties in Québec, Canada, and opening its first property in Chile. The brand also announced an upcoming debut in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. A long-term distribution and master franchise agreement with SSAW Hotels & Resorts in China is expected to add over 9,500 rooms to the brand.
Choice Hotels International also signed its first two Radisson Individuals projects in downtown Savannah, Georgia, and Nashville, Tennessee. Radisson Individuals is an upper upscale soft brand.
