After a brief hiatus from social media, birthday boy Bad Bunny has returned, sharing a new post to Instagram. And the internet cannot handle it.

In the image, the Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and actor, whose birth name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, smiles over a heart-shaped, chocolate-iced birthday cake flanked by strawberries and decorated with several tall lit candles. He’s wearing a suit and tie and holding a wineglass.
“32,” he simply captioned the post.
According to ClutchPoints, Bad Bunny wiped his social media clean last month. Following his hyped Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, the “DtMF” singer deleted every post from his Instagram account, even nixing his profile picture. He also reportedly stopped following everyone he previously followed, as his count now sits at a big, fat zero.
Though the global superstar has given no official reason for the desicion, the move has been widely speculated to be the result of political tension over his Spanish-language halftime show or simply a strategic reset for his next musical era. Either way, today, your boy is back.
With more than 54.5 million followers and just one post shared about eight hours ago, Bad Bunny’s social media has flipped the switch to on and is now poised once again to break the internet.
As of publication, the post already has 7.1 million likes and 108,000 comments, with fans, brands, and celebrities alike all celebrating both his return to social media and his 32nd birthday.
“Happy Birthday Benito!!!🎂 🎂🎂,” actress Lala Anthony wrote.
“Pisces energy ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨,” Latina lifestyle influencer Valeria Duqueh said.
Even HBO Max got in on the fun, writing, “Feliz Cumpleaños Benito 🥳🎂.”
