Baris Agacbuken Appointed General Manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City

Hilton has appointed Baris Agacbuken as the new general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City, overseeing a multi-phase renovation project.

Hilton has named Baris Agacbuken as the new general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City, a 481-room property. Agacbuken will manage all aspects of hotel operations, including dining venues, amenities, and more than 27,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Agacbuken will also oversee a multi-phase renovation at the hotel. The first phase of the renovation will focus on the hotel’s meeting spaces, main lobby, and food and beverage outlets. This phase is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. A subsequent renovation of the guestrooms is scheduled to begin in late 2026, with completion anticipated by mid-2027.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City is managed by Hilton and owned by Lobro Associates. The renovation aims to enhance the guest experience and update the facilities to meet current hospitality standards.

Before this appointment, Agacbuken served as the hotel manager at Hilton New Orleans Riverside, overseeing an $80 million renovation. His previous experience includes leadership roles with Marriott International and Two Roads Hospitality, as well as positions in meetings and events services at Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center and Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.
