Caesars Entertainment has officially opened Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, following a comprehensive renovation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe on the South Shore. The grand opening event included a champagne reception, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with Lisa Vanderpump, and live performances at the new Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords lounge.
The property now features a reimagined lobby, a modernized casino floor with new slot machines, table games, a high-limit and poker area, and a renovated Caesars Sportsbook. Renovated accommodations and new amenities include the High Dive Pool and Lounge.
Dining and nightlife venues at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe include WOLF by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN, and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, developed in partnership with Clique Hospitality. Additional bars at the property are Cleo’s, Centro, and Celeste.
The opening event featured live rock performances by Tahoe Tommy and Pier Pressure, as well as artistic presentations at Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords. The event was held in the newly designed lobby and lounge areas.
The transformation was described as multi-phased, honoring the legacy of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe while introducing new design elements and amenities. Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe together offer nearly 1,250 guest rooms.
The resort is located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada.
