It was only this September when fans got treated with the comprehensive tour film-cum-family drama Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger. Blending archival content with new concert footage across three continents and, of course, some bickering between the foul-mouthed brothers, the documentary proved to strike the right chord for critics, diehard fans (‘Madferits’) and even Oasis agnostics (like our editor with his five-star review).
With Peaky Blinders show runner Steven Knight on writing duties, directors Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern deliver the musical event of the year. And in case you missed out this brotherly celebration on the big screen, fret not for the documentary starts streaming soon next month.
Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger begins streaming internationally on Disney+ from October 9. US audiences can also watch the documentary on Hulu as well.
The streaming release also comes with a bundle of extra footage, including never-before-seen material from the joint interview with the Gallaghers and complete performances of hits like ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Slide Away’. Performances of ‘Half the World Away’ and ‘D’You Know What I Mean?’ will also feature for the first time with the Disney+ release.
