DoveHill announced the acquisition of the Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Collection, in Washington, Connecticut. The property is situated in Litchfield County, approximately ninety minutes from New York City. The Mayflower Inn & Spa comprises 35 guestrooms and cottages on 58 acres.
The property includes a 20,000-square-foot wellbeing facility known as The Retreat, dining venues The Garden Room and The Tap Room, an outdoor pool, and gardens. The Mayflower Inn & Spa has received several industry recognitions, including a Forbes Four-Star Spa designation, an AAA Four Diamond rating, a 1 MICHELIN Key, and has been recognized by Condé Nast Traveler as one of “the highest-rated properties in the world” each year since 2017. The property was named “Connecticut’s Leading Resort” by the World Travel Awards for 2024.
Auberge Collection will continue to manage the Mayflower Inn & Spa. DoveHill stated plans for targeted enhancements to the property while maintaining its existing character.
The Mayflower Inn & Spa is located at 118 Woodbury Road in Washington, Connecticut. The property offers a range of estate experiences and programming in addition to its accommodations and amenities.
