Family Visits All 12 Disney Parks in 12 Days for Charity

16 May 20263 Mins Read

While most families consider a trip to a single Disney resort a major undertaking, one Florida family recently took the “Disney adult” lifestyle to a global extreme. According to USA Today, Brent Hopper and his two teenagers, Tanner and Peyton, successfully visited all 12 Disney theme parks across the globe in just 12 days—and they did it twice. “We did every ride, every park in under 12 days,” he told the outlet.

Their first attempt in 2023 was a massive feat, but as USA Today reports, the family fell slightly short of their goal to ride every single attraction worldwide. Determined to “redeem” the mission, they set out again in 2024 with a more rigorous strategy. This time, they successfully checked off all 217 rides, spanning six different resorts in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

According to the USA Today coverage, the logistics were staggering:

  • Air Travel: The family spent approximately 31 hours in the air during their second trip.
  • Park Time: They logged over 100 hours inside the parks across the 12-day window.
  • Cost: Brent Hopper estimated the total cost at roughly $10,000, despite utilizing his professional airline benefits to help manage flight expenses.

The journey wasn’t just about personal glory or a love for Mickey ice cream bars—which Peyton noted were a primary source of fuel during the trip. USA Today highlights that the Hoppers used their global “park crawl” as a fundraiser for Give Kids the World Village, a nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides cost-free vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families. Across both marathons, the family raised more than $5,000 for the cause.

The itinerary required military-level precision. The family faced significant physical and mental hurdles, including extreme sleep deprivation and the sheer physical toll of walking tens of thousands of steps a day. On the second attempt, they even opted to skip a rest day in Orlando to spend extra time in Tokyo, ensuring they didn’t miss the rides that had eluded them the year prior.

Peyton recalled “just barely getting any sleep sometimes because we would have a flight that would get in super, super late and then we’d have to go to another park the next day or in the morning.”

While many would find the pace exhausting, the elder Hopper told the media outlet that he is already open to a third attempt as new attractions open. Whether he can convince his daughter to join him for a three-peat, however, remains to be seen. For now, they hold the rare distinction of having conquered every Disney ride on the planet in less than two weeks.
