Welcome to your comprehensive (early) guide to everything coming to Netflix in May 2026! As we head into the early summer months, Netflix is turning up the heat with a massive slate of highly anticipated originals, returning favorites, and blockbuster live events.
Whether you’re looking forward to the new sci-fi adventure The Boroughs from the creators of Stranger Things, eagerly awaiting the mystery-solving return of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2, or gearing up for massive live broadcast specials like The Roast of Kevin Hart and a historic MMA showdown between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, this month’s lineup truly has something for everyone.

- Ladies First (2026) Netflix Original – Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike to headline this new comedy directed by Thea Sharrock.
- The Silent Twins (2022) – Based on the true story of June and Jennifer Gibbons, twin sisters who communicated only with each other, retreating into a rich and dangerous fantasy world to escape the isolation of their reality.
- Goat (2026) – If recent Sony Pictures addition patterns hold true, we could see a May release for the latest Sony Pictures Animation movie. Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, and Aaron Pierre lend their voices.
What’s Coming to Netflix on May 1st
- Glory (2026) Netflix Original – Indian mystery series with Divyenndu and Pulkit Samrat. In a small-town boxing hub, two brothers investigate a shocking murder while navigating a troubled reunion with their father, a renowned coach.
- Green Book (2018) – A working-class Italian-American bouncer takes a job driving a world-class African-American classical pianist on a concert tour through the 1960s American South, forming an unexpected bond along the way.
- Jennifer’s Body (2009) – A popular high school cheerleader is possessed by a hungry demon and turns into a succubus, leaving her nerdy best friend to stop her gruesome reign of terror against their male classmates. Starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried.

- La Brea (Seasons 1-4) – When a massive sinkhole mysteriously opens in the middle of Los Angeles, it pulls hundreds of people and buildings down into a dangerous, primeval land where they must band together to survive.
- Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir (Season 5) – New episodes (alongside a new special) for the hit animated series.
- My Dearest Señorita (2026) Netflix Original – Fernando González Molina directs this Spanish feature with Elizabeth Martinez and Anna Castillo starring.

- Love is Blind: Poland (2026) Netflix Original – The Polish pods open as a new group of singles seeks true love sight unseen in this international spin-off of the hit reality dating series.
- My Dearest Assassin (2026) – Thai action drama with a splash of romance. A woman whose rare blood type puts a target on her back finds protection in the arms of the deadly assassin she loves — together, they fight to survive.

- Legends (Season 1) Netflix Original – As drugs flood the streets of ’90s Britain, a team of civil servants is thrust undercover to topple the gangs behind it. Inspired by an untold true story.
- The Chestnut Man (Season 2 – Hide and Seek) Netflix Original – The return of the Nordic crime noir. Mark Hess and Naia Thulin yet again lead an investigation into a reported missings cast, but the relationship between the two detectives is complicated.
