FITUR 2026 Expands Travel Technology Area by 50%

FITUR 2026 will expand its Travel Technology area by 50% and relocate it to the new Knowledge Hub in Hall 12, with participation from over 150 companies from more than 20 countries.

The International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, scheduled for January 21-25, 2026, in Madrid, will see a substantial expansion of its Travel Technology area. The section will grow by 50% and will be relocated to the new Knowledge Hub in Hall 12. This area will host over 150 companies from more than 20 countries, including Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Turkey.

The relocation to the Knowledge Hub is designed to enhance connections between innovation, training, high-tech trends, and business. The Travel Technology area will focus on solutions in artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics, distribution, digital marketing, smart mobility, and immersive experiences.

Participating companies include Amadeus, Travelgate, Roommatik, Septeo, Juniper Travel Technology, BEONx, Tech Tourism Cluster, and Roiback. Business France will also feature startups, highlighting the area’s role in promoting technology firms globally.

The expansion of the Travel Technology area reflects its growing importance in the tourism industry, where it is seen as a means to enhance destination and business competitiveness, improve the traveler experience with digital solutions, and foster new data-driven business models.
