Four New IHG Properties Announced Across Garner and voco Brands

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing and opening of four properties with Fairview Hotels in the UK, adding over 380 rooms across the voco and Garner brands.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its UK portfolio through four agreements with Fairview Hotels, covering both new signings and openings. The properties include voco London – Bloomsbury, Garner Hotel Lincoln, Garner Hotel Rotherham East, and Garner Hotel Chesterfield North. These additions represent more than 380 rooms and contribute to IHG’s pipeline in the UK and Ireland, which now includes over 400 open and pipeline hotels as of 30 September 2025.

The voco London – Bloomsbury is located on Southampton Row in London, near Kimpton Fitzroy London and Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury. The 114-room hotel occupies a Victorian building and is expected to be fully rebranded and open as a voco property in mid-2026. The property will remain operational during the rebranding process.

Three new Garner hotels have also been announced with Fairview Hotels. Garner Hotel Rotherham East opened in January 2025 and features 91 rooms. It is located in Bramley, close to Junction 1 of the M18, providing access to Rotherham, Sheffield, York, and Nottingham. The hotel is within a 15-minute drive of the Meadowhall shopping mall.

Garner Hotel Lincoln is scheduled to open in February 2026. The 91-room property is situated in North Hykeham, southwest of Lincoln, with access to the A46 and is 13 minutes from Lincoln Central Station. The location is surrounded by retail, leisure, and industrial facilities, and is near attractions such as Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle.

Garner Hotel Chesterfield North is also set to open in February 2026. The 91-room hotel is located in Balborough, Derbyshire, near Junction 30 of the M1. The site offers connectivity to Sheffield, Chesterfield, North Leeds, and South Birmingham. Nearby attractions include Balborough Links Golf Club, Bolsover Castle, and Sherwood Forest.

These developments expand IHG’s partnership with Fairview Hotels to six properties. The new hotels are part of IHG’s strategy to grow its voco and Garner brands in the UK. The voco brand, launched in 2018, reached 100 open hotels globally in 2025 and now includes 21 open and 5 pipeline properties in the UK and Ireland. The Garner brand has 5 open and 7 pipeline properties in the UK, including locations in Edinburgh, Nottingham, and London.

The four new properties will join IHG’s portfolio of over 400 open and pipeline hotels in the UK and Ireland.
