Obvious rhetorical question incoming: Is pizza ever a bad idea? If your answer is anything other than an emphatic “Absolutely not!”—well, you’re certainly entitled to your opinion, however wrong it may be. Pizza needs no special occasion. It’s a near-perfect dish that combines virtually all of the food groups into one exceptionally delicious, handheld bite. You can eat it sitting down at a fancy restaurant with a fork and knife or enjoy it while making your way through a packed party with a slice in one hand and a beer in the other.
But as tasty as the beloved dish is on any occasion, it’s somehow even better the day after the Super Bowl when you’ve likely had one too many margaritas. Luckily, National Pizza Day falls on Monday, Feb. 9, the day after the Bad Bunny Bowl—ehrm, Super Bowl—and that means plenty of tasty deals from all your favorite spots to help soothe your lingering hangover. Everyone from California Pizza Kitchen to Domino’s is offering discounted pies and deals you won’t want to pass up, and we’ve got you covered with all the deets.
