Sunday’s appearance marked Paltrow’s first appearance at the Oscars in 11 years.
Paltrow completely shut down the pre-show red carpet wearing an ivory silk gown with a slit that went all the way up both sides of the dress, revealing Paltrow’s leggy, fit physique.
A Daring Take on the “Naked Dress” Trend
The head-turning gown featured a strapless neckline and crystal embellishments along the top. Appearing to be slit up the sides from floor to neckline, Gwyneth’s dress included daring sheer panels that gave the illusion the dress was split in two, giving new meaning to the “naked dress” trend.
Paltrow paired her Armani Prive gown with white closed-toe Christian Louboutin heels and subtle sparkling diamonds that accentuated the dress’s design without taking attention away from it.
