Hard Rock Hotel New York Names New Director of Restaurants and Executive Chef

Hard Rock Hotel New York has appointed Tetyana Mykhaylyuk as Director of Restaurants and Fabian Ludwig as Executive Chef to oversee food and beverage operations.

Hard Rock Hotel New York has announced the appointment of Tetyana Mykhaylyuk as Director of Restaurants and Fabian Ludwig as Executive Chef. The appointments cover leadership of culinary and restaurant operations across the property’s RT60 Rooftop Bar & Lounge and Sessions Restaurant & Bar.

Mykhaylyuk brings over 15 years of experience in food and beverage operations, having previously held management roles at Merchants Hospitality, The McKittrick Hotel, Hugo Hotel, and The Lexington Hotel. In her new position, she will oversee all restaurant and lounge operations at Hard Rock Hotel New York, including in-room dining and special events.

Ludwig joins as Executive Chef with more than 20 years of experience in culinary leadership. His previous roles include Executive Chef at Sofitel New York and leadership positions at PUBLIC Hotel, BallenIsles Country Club, and Gaylord Rockies. Ludwig will be responsible for menu development at Sessions Restaurant & Bar and RT60 Rooftop Bar & Lounge. He will also oversee banquets, catering, and in-room dining services.

Sessions Restaurant & Bar features an open-plan space and serves menus designed for daytime dining and co-working lunches. RT60 Rooftop Bar & Lounge offers cocktails, live DJs, and views of Times Square and Midtown from a glass-enclosed bar and outdoor terraces.

The appointments are intended to support the hotel’s restaurant and lounge operations, as well as banquets and catering services. No timeline for further changes or additional openings was provided in the announcement.
