Hilton ended 2025 with more than 300 operating hotels in 35 countries and territories across the Caribbean and Latin America, advancing a pipeline of over 150 properties representing more than 21,000 rooms.

Hilton ended 2025 with over 300 operating hotels in 35 countries and territories in the Caribbean and Latin America, and a pipeline of more than 150 properties representing over 21,000 rooms. In 2025, Hilton opened more than 30 hotels and signed a record number of deals, adding over 70 new hotels and 7,800 rooms to its pipeline—a 55 percent increase in the number of hotels and more than a 25 percent increase in added rooms compared to 2024.

More than half of Hilton’s 2025 openings in the region were in its luxury and lifestyle brands, bringing this segment’s portfolio to over 100 hotels. Notable openings included Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, which opened in April; Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, which opened in June in the Dominican Republic; and York Medellín, Curio Collection by Hilton, which opened in Colombia in December.

Hilton expanded its branded residences strategy with new signings. In 2025, Waldorf Astoria Residences Costa Rica debuted. The company signed Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara, the first standalone Waldorf Astoria branded residences in the Caribbean and Latin America, featuring one-to-four-bedroom homes and amenities. Hilton also signed a new ultra-luxury resort and residences in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, which will offer 170 guest rooms and one- to four-bedroom homes and is slated to join the LXR Hotels & Resorts collection in 2029. Additional projects in the pipeline include Waldorf Astoria Dellis Cay and AMARIS Grace Bay, LXR Hotels & Resorts, in Turks & Caicos, as well as Waldorf Astoria San Miguel de Allende and Conrad Los Cabos in Mexico.

Hilton signed two new Conrad hotels in the region: Conrad Lima, a 21-story oceanfront hotel in Lima’s Miraflores district, planned for 2028, and Conrad Monterrey, scheduled to open in the next few years in northern Mexico.

In 2025, Hilton signed several lifestyle brand hotels, including WIA Ushuaia, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Argentina; Casa di Sirena Sao Paulo Pinheiros, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Casaway Mata Atlantica Morretes, Curio Collection by Hilton in Brazil; Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio by Hilton in the Dominican Republic; Chelsea Bogota Parque 93, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Cabo Hotel Guatape El Peñol, Curio Collection by Hilton in Colombia; Valle de Guadalupe, Curio Collection by Hilton in Mexico; and Sozo Paramaribo, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Suriname.

By the end of 2026, Hilton plans to open Casa Costa Ilhabela, Curio Collection by Hilton in Brazil; Montara Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Costa Rica; and two Motto by Hilton hotels: Motto by Hilton Recife Antigo in Brazil and Motto by Hilton Guadalajara Centro Historico in Mexico.

Hilton reported market firsts for several brands in the region. DoubleTree by Hilton Caracol Canela opened in Rio Grande do Sul state; Spark by Hilton Ponce opened in Puerto Rico; Tru by Hilton Chillán Ferrat opened in Chile; and Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas opened in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company also plans to introduce Tempo by Hilton in Costa Rica and Mexico.

Heading into 2026, Hilton has more than 90 hotels in the pipeline across its focused service brands in the Caribbean and Latin America, including Spark by Hilton. The company launched region-specific prototypes for Tru by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton and began construction on its first Home2 Suites by Hilton in Monterrey Santa Catarina.

Recent openings include Hampton by Hilton Caraguatatuba Serramar in Brazil and Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Polanco. Planned openings for the next year include Hilton Garden Inn Natal in Brazil, Hilton Garden Inn Buenos Aires Parque Leloir in Argentina, and Hilton Garden Inn Pereira in Colombia. New Tru by Hilton properties are opening in Mexico and Honduras, with two Hampton by Hilton hotels forthcoming in Guadalajara and Monterrey.

Globally, Hilton added nearly 800 hotels and 100,000 new rooms to its portfolio in 2025. Approximately one in every five hotel rooms under construction globally is slated to join the Hilton system.
